SERVICES
sugaring is a gentle and safe form of hair removal. our sugaring paste is 100% natural, made of only sugar, water, and lemon juice
-
Dating back to 1900 BC, sugaring, also known as sugar waxing or Persian waxing, has a rich history rooted in the regions surrounding Persia. This ancient hair removal technique involves melting a blend of sugar, water, and lemon juice to achieve a honey-like consistency. In Ancient Greece, Egypt, and various Middle Eastern countries, the removal of body hair held significant cultural importance. At that time, civilizations considered having body hair everywhere except for the eyebrows as uncivilized.
Over the years, sugaring has transcended its origins and made its way to the West, earning recognition as one of the healthiest forms of hair removal.

DO –
Exfoliate 3-4x/ week with a soft body brush or exfoliating hand mitt. Wait 24 hours after your sugaring treatment as the sugar will have already exfoliated the existing dead skin. One of the greatest benefits of sugaring is that it does not adhere to live skin.
I recommend Fur and PCA products that will soothe and treat the skin. As well as prevent ingrown hairs or scarring, along with treating those already existing.
DO NOT –
No shaving in between maintenance appointments, as soon as you shave anywhere you have sugared you will be back to square one as if you have not sugared.
24 hrs following your sugaring avoid any activities that will cause you to sweat excessively. That includes working out, hot tub, sauna, or intercourse.
If you experience ingrown hairs, you never want to directly exfoliate the zone where the skin is tender, red, or raised. Avoid picking or squeezing any ingrown that might pop up or exist already.
Avoid wearing tight pants, and undergarments with lace or satin that can cause the skin to irritate.
Never use scrubs or body washes with granules as they will spread bacteria and or cause micro-tears on the skin. You also want to avoid body products with synthetic fragrances as that will promote irritation and rosacea, especially on more sensitive skin types.

Dermaplaning, a manual exfoliating treatment using a medical-grade blade, removes dead skin and vellus hair for an immediately smoother complexion. Benefits include improved fine lines, wrinkles, and diminished acne scarring. The removal of dead cells enhances topical product absorption.
Pairing with a mask, peel, or the Oxy Trio from PCA post-dermaplaning amplifies the plump, smooth, and glowing skin effect. Recommended every 2-3 weeks for optimal cell turnover, dermaplaning is a valuable addition to monthly skincare routines, offering a seamless makeup application.

Hydrojelly is a refined algae technology infused with electrolytes to boost your skin’s hydration. We often neglect the hydration that is needed to keep our skin healthy, and that can happen by not drinking enough water hence lacking the electrolytes needed to hold that hydration.
You can think of the hydrojelly mask as a refreshing drink of water for your skin. The mask forms a comfortable seal that compresses the face, neck, chest, or even hands depending on what area you’d like to treat. They can also be used in vajacial treatments.
These masks are formulated with algae, electrolytes, and organic ingredients to provide a unique jello-like texture. This technology allows for the complete absorption of organic nutrition and electrolytes to the deeper layers of the skin. This mask helps firm, soothe, and awaken the skin for a beautiful glow. Each hydrojelly mask has its own specific target/benefit, and we are able to customize this treatment to whatever your skin concerns may be.

ABOUT HANNAH
To my lovely clients (and future clients), this is a letter for you!
Hello! For those I haven’t yet had the chance to meet, I’m Hannah. ❤︎
This journey has been the wildest ride! I couldn’t have landed at this destination without all of your support over the years as I built my foundation through practice, professional training, and trial & error. Some of you have known me from the very beginning. When I was just 19 years old training in eyelash extensions (which I quickly learned was not for me). Or, following that when I received my long-awaited esthetician position at Bluemercury. This was my very first experience performing skin treatments as a licensed esthetician! There I gained so much experience in skin treatments like oxygen facials, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels. I was perfecting the basics, which at the time felt like the toughest, but from there I slowly grew.
-
I gained my knowledge from some of the leading educators from lines like SkinCeuticals, Dr.Sterm, La Mer, PCA, Natura Bisse, OSEA, m-61, Chantecaille, ReVive (and more). In addition to skincare, I learned makeup artistry from some of the most talented makeup artists from lines like Hourglass, Trish McEvoy, Bobbi Brown, NARS, Laura Mercier. The list goes on and on. This was very special to me, as I grew up in the era of YouTube makeup tutorials and artists who were so inspiring to me back then. Because of this job in particular I had the privilege of learning many skills I would take with me throughout my career.
Now my own personal skin journey was a time less exciting. Growing up and experiencing cystic acne was something that made me grow very insecure about showing my bare skin. So much so that when I was a junior in high school I received almost 8 detentions because during the passing period, I would stop at the bathroom (making me late to my next class) just to blot the oil and touch up my makeup to prevent my acne from showing through. It was something I was so desperate to fix I would try anything. I would make homemade concoctions from regimens I would look up online, to Neutrogena acne products, to Proactiv, and finally the dreaded Accutane. Through this, I learned the darker sides of the skincare industry. From high school on I was determined to learn everything to (hopefully) never experience a breakout again.
Now, as a professional and having gone through such a journey myself, it creates something in you where you want to provide whatever you can to make sure no client has to experience what you did. In my first year performing facials I learned quickly that I was not alone in this and the lengths we will go through to achieve “perfect” skin. Now at this point in my career, I have received some wonderful certifications like PCA professional peels, as well as Lash Lifting and Eyebrow Lamination.
It wasn’t until my training in sugaring that I found a forever love. Because of my Persian roots (no pun intended), sugaring really came in handy for me. Growing up as a half-Iranian, half-Norwegian girl (with zero chance of having a lighter amount of body hair) this was a treatment I really could not live without. Having known of it for the majority of my life, I always thought it was a treatment that only women in cultures similar to mine were aware of. Little did I know as I grew up, sugaring was growing in demand. You can imagine my surprise when I learned it was something that women were able to create careers doing and making businesses off of performing just that single service. If only it were that easy!
Sugaring is truly an art and a skill that takes some time to master. On my first day of training, I was about ready to give up. “If at first you don’t succeed, try again” was on a loop in my head that entire week. Once it finally clicked it was one of the most rewarding feelings. Today, I am absolutely honored to offer it as one of my most popular services. At this point, I pride myself in having the options for those who are looking for healthier and more gentle alternatives to combating their skin concerns. Whether it be skincare, makeup, or hair removal.
Now I look back at all the incredible people who have helped shape me into the person I am today. Thank you all, because of you I strive to be the person I know my younger self would have looked up to. All I want is for everyone I come across to feel beautiful in their own skin. I hope to always be a light for anyone that comes to me. Thank you all again for being with me throughout all of my growth, and for your trust and constant support.
Love, Hannah
